Scope and Contents
Papers primarily focus on the life and family of Edward C. Donnelly Jr. Included are records concerning the two family estates, one in Cohasset, Massachusetts and the other, "Ard Righ", in Dover, Massachusetts. There are also considerable papers concerning the family yacht, "Addonway," purchased in 1951, including guest registers, log books, design prints, and inventories. Series also consists of birth announcements, correspondence, and school records related to Edward C. Donnelly Jr.'s five sons with Sheila Donnelly: Edward C. III (1947), Stephen C. (1949), Frederick C. (1950), Gregory C. (1951), and Brian C. (1955).

Collection is open for research; a portion is available digitally. Some materials are quite fragile; take care in handling. The photographs in box 46 are closed pending conservation review.
