Includes several drafts from rough through a fair mimeograph typescript of what appears to be one textbook. None of the materials include a cover page for the whole work. Chapters of the fair copy include: I. Linguistics and the Study of Literature, II. Practical Applications, III. Theoretical Implications, IV. Oral-formulaic Theory, V. Prosody, VI. Metaphor, VII. Style, and VIII. Rhetoric.
