Scope and Contents
The earliest autograph book (1890) belonged to Mary McCarthy Donovan, who gave it to her daughter, J. Agnes Donovan. The other two autograph books are signed by J. Agnes Donovan's classmates from St. James School in Haverhill, Massachusetts. A verse included by Nora McCarthy Donovan (1915) was identified as item M147 on the donor's index (Box 2 Folder 2).
