Scope and Contents
The Committee for the Preservation of Cellar Dwellings was established in 1960 by Kent (as the only member) to save her own and other Greenwich Village cellar apartments from a change in city zoning that would have made them illegal. Includes correspondence, committee letterhead, and articles about Kent's apartment, as well as architectural drawings of it created by Kent in 1958.
