Scope and Contents
Valway travelled to Prague for the first World Youth Festival in July 1947, and stayed there afterwards. He was in Prague during the February 1948 Communist coup d'état and had to leave suddenly due to related visa complications, eventually coming home to the United States via Paris, France.
