Special ceremony and Mass on the occasion of the visit of Peter Kwasi Sarpong, Bishop of Kumasi, Ghana, sponsored by St. Mark's Church and the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The ceremony was to establish awards for outstanding stewardship for increasing the presence of the Catholic Church among the peoples of African American descent in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. The Mass, held at St. Peter in Chains Cathedral, Cincinnati, was sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Mission Office, with Rivers as Liturgist. Concelebrants were the returned missionaries and priests of mission sending organizations. The theme was "Jesus' Mission is Our Mission."
