Collection of dust jackets from books by detective fiction author Rex Stout, assembled by rare book collector and dealer Peter L. Stern. There is one facsimile jacket in the collection, The Red Box, otherwise all are originals. The collection also includes a poem written to Stout on his birthday by American poet and critic, Mark Van Doren.
