Materials primarily consist of addresses by Cushing honoring his colleagues, and programs from events in which Cushing was being honored. Also included are letters Cushing sent to employees of Raytheon, newspaper clippings, an illustrated print of Cushing, publications, and a scrapbook. The publications are mostly pamphlets written by Cushing regarding Catholicism and spirituality. The scrapbook contains newspaper tributes looking back on the life of Cushing; most were published shortly after his death. It also includes original photographs of Cushing's funeral mass at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston, Massachusetts.
