This series contains the audiovisual department files as well as audiocassettes, reel-to-reel tapes, film, and VHS tapes. It has five subseries: A. Department materials; B. Audiocassettes; C. Film and videocassettes; D. Microfilm; E. Slides. Department files contain correspondence, funding requests, pamphlets, materials related to the department’s relationship with the Helene Fuld Health Foundation, and records regarding the production of informational films on healthcare topics. A small number of files contain overhead transparencies and presentations created by NEDH SON instructors and staff. Audio and graphic material includes recruitment tapes, publicity spots, lectures, graduations, candelighting ceremonies, and glee club performances. Titles for tapes have been directly transcribed. Records containing financial, student, or other private information, including some microfilm, are closed. Playback technology is not available for all formats.
