This first series includes information on the Massachusetts Nurses Association (MNA). The first subseries includes the Minutes and Agenda of the MNA meetings between October 1979 and April 1983. Other subseries include information regarding the meetings of the Council of Continuing Education between 1975 and 1981, the Bay State Committee Meetings between 1980-1984 and the Board of Directors, 1979-1984.

Series II contains information on different nursing awards, scholarships and Honor Societies. Among the Honor Societies that are described include Sigma Theta Tau, the Nursing Honor Society of Boston College. There is also information on the Eileen Angelo Scholarship of Southeastern Massachusetts University for the years 1981-1985. Series III focuses on Sr. Madeleine's addresses, papers and articles from 1947 to 1985, including many speeches to the MNA and St. Anne's Hospital. These talks deal with such topics as the Education of Nurses, Existentialism and Nursing, and the Professional Role and Duties of Nurses. Also includes other publications collected by Sr. Madeleine.

The final series consists of Sr. Madeleine's incoming and outgoing letters dating 1960-1966. Correspondents include Boston College, Boston University, the American Hospital Association and various organizations.
