The subseries is comprised of Beckett manuscripts. Included are plays, notably the early, unpublished Eleutheria (1915), as well as later works, Quad (1981) and Nacht und Traume (1982). There are also galley proofs from the Grove Press edition of Rockaby and Other Short Pieces (1981), Beckett's translations of "The Calamative" from Nouvelles et textes pour rien and "In The Train with Mr. Madden" from Mercier et Camier. Most of the manuscripts contain corrections made by Beckett and some have notes from Beckett to Barney Rosset.
