Scope and Contents
Contains the medals for the Thomas Linacre Award and the Pope John XXI International Prize for Medical Ethics, both received by Laforet, as well as copies of the publications which won him the awards. Laforet was awarded the Thomas Linacre Award in 1959 for his publication "Boxing: Medical and Moral Aspects" (1958). "The 'Hopeless' Case," first presented at the International Congress of Catholic Doctors in London in 1962, won Laforet the Pope John XXI International Prize for Medical Ethics that same year.
