Scope and Contents
The Literary Works series consists of clippings, correspondence, ephemera, literary manuscripts, legal documents, published materials, and reviews concerning Greene’s writing.
In addition to children’s books, editorial work, essays and articles, films scripts, introductions, letters to the editor and editorials, nonfiction, novels, plays, poetry, reviews, short stories, radio scripts, and television scripts, lists of complimentary copies of works sent out to Greene’s acquaintances are included.
The “Remembering Series” was individual articles published in separate publications, but later republished serially in the Daily Telegraph (1974-1975).
Greene edited An Impossible Woman, the memoir of his friend, Dr. Elisabeth Moor; his correspondence with her during is filed in this series, as are introductions he wrote for works by other authors.
