Scope and Contents

Series is composed largely of photographs of the Donnelly family. Many of the portraits were taken by the well-known local studio Bachrach. Several items are inscribed or signed, including a photograph of the Canterbury School and a photograph of Edward C. Donnelly Jr. with his football teammates at Canterbury School. Also found in this series are a printed chart of the principal members of John Donnelly & Sons, with portraits and identifying... captions; photographs of the Loews State Theater both in its original state and after it became the Donnelly Memorial Theater in 1959; and a pen and ink drawing of Edward C. Donnelly, Sr.

Collection is open for research; a portion is available digitally. Some materials are quite fragile; take care in handling. The photographs in box 46 are closed pending conservation review.

Audio recordings have been digitally copied; all original media were retained, but may not be played due to format. Digital use copies can only be accessed in the Burns Library Reading Room.
