Scope and Contents
Guest books (1964-1995) recorded visitors received by O'Neill and his staff in the House Office Building and the Speaker's Office in the Capitol. Guest Books from the Speaker's recreated office at Boston College are also included in this subseries. The Scrapbooks (1947-1986) contain additional newspaper and magazine clippings. Despite some missing volumes, they provide valuable information on O'Neill's years in the Massachusetts State Legislature.
