The box and bottle for a patented cough and cold medicine, with a label that reads "Father John's wholesome family medicine was originally compounded for Rev. Father John O'Brien of Lowell, Massachusetts in 1855". According to the donor inventory, Father John O'Brien performed the marriage of P.S. Gilmore to Ellen O'Neill.
