Scope and Contents
Recordings are primarily on home-recorded lacquer discs. Many date from Tommy Sullivan's first months home after his discharge from World War II in March 1945. Contents are primarily live accordion music, although there is some conversation. Also included are disks recorded for Sullivan by his family while he was in service, as well as later recordings of his accordion playing. The latest recordings are of Sullivan playing with Joe Derrane and a testimonial dinner for Sullivan with performances by other musicians in his circle, including his son T. Jeffrey Sullivan.
