Materials in this series primarily correspond to Helmick's time working in London, England, at the Centre for Human Rights and Responsibilities and include correspondence, articles and reports written by Helmick, conference materials, and descriptions of the activities of the Centre. Helmick worked closely with Richard Hauser during this period and much of their work overlapped. Helmick's main focus in conflict resolution while working at the Centre was Northern Ireland, although he remained interested and involved in numerous other areas of conflict, including discussions of nuclear disarmament in Europe.
