Schwartz assigned roll numbers in chronological sequence to his Belfast project negatives, but he also kept a file of un-numbered project rolls, labeled "early" which may have predated his numbering system. The "early" negative file also seems to contain rolls kept out of the numbered sequence for other reasons (such as because they were prepared for an exhibit). There is also a sequence of color negatives which were housed separately from the Belfast project rolls by Schwartz, although their content appears to be similar. (Their role numbers duplicate those of the Belfast project negatives.) The negatives labeled Carson clan are of the family of Deidre Carson, sister of Sean Allen.
