Biographical note
Otis Gray Randall was a Boston dry goods merchant. Randall was married to Abigail Ann Edlund, settling near Jamaica Pond. In 1829, he opened a dry good shop at 345 Washington Street. By the 1840s, the dry goods shop had become a small brokerage firm with banking and notary services on State Street. In 1884, charges of misuse of funds were brought against him by several customers.
