Abstract
Collected photographic postcards with blank versos, from Europe and Africa, as well as a few from the United States. The bulk are images of Austria, France, Italy, Spain, and Turkey; while smaller sets document Algeria and Morocco. Photographs are almost entirely black-and-white, with a few hand-colored.

Provenance
Because the current accessioning system was not used until January 1986, it is not possible to know exactly the dates of acquisition of materials received before that time. Notes from 1986 indicate that these materials were originally transferred from the Boston College Jesuit community.
