Formerly bound in a rustic leather binding fashioned from a boot upper. Disbound following conservation treatment, the loose leaves are now housed in mylar folders. The leather binding has been retained.
Processing note
The early modern prose and Fenian tales: manuscript (MS.1986.085.002) was disbound for conservation in 2019. The gatherings proved too fragile to rebind. The resulting loose sheets are confusing to navigate. Please keep the pages in order and note the page numbering at the top of each block of text--added during conservation--which represents the pagination of the bound volume before Burns Library disassembled it.
