Bound manuscript written in 19th-century cursive script. Unpublished, satirical, anti-Catholic, fantasy narrative that is an extended allegory of the Ritualism controversy that gripped the Anglican and Protestant Episcopal churches in the late 19th century. The alternative title "The Ritooralists" and the name "Edward Cobblestone" (presumably a pseudonym) are crossed out on the title page.
