The description in this inventory was repurposed from an internal tracking inventory produced in 1988. This is not an exhaustive inventory of all art on view in Burns Library.

In 2023 the works-on-paper that had been stored framed were unframed by archives staff. These items have been foldered and boxed.

Some materials are accessible through other, more traditional Burns Library collections. Each of those items has an note about the collection it is accessible through and the box numbering follows the sequence of that collection rather than this one.

Items on view have a note indicating where in the Libraries the object may be observed.
