Scope and Contents
Catholic prayer book. Bound manuscript on paper, in red and black ink, with 26 full-page drawings, and 9 smaller drawings and vignettes in red, yellow, and green ink. Musical notation on four-line staff. The volume is signed by Jean Baptiste Potteau (page 128: Ioannes Baptista Potteaũ, 1724) and inscribed by Charles dens tot Putte (page [1]: Dezen boek hoort toe aan Charles Dens tot Putte 1829). The creator of this manuscript presumably copied the text and illustrations from contemporary printed sources.
