This series includes both albums and individuals photos. The albums cover Sweeney’s early family and a trip to Europe in 1939. The remaining photographs proceed in chronological order, from Sweeney’s first communion to his ordination Mass to Sweeney receiving his honorary degree from Boston College. This series includes identifiable and unidentifiable photographs of Sweeney’s family and friends.

Collection is open for research. One phonograph record has been digitally copied; all original media was retained, but may not be played due to format. Digital use copies can only be accessed in the Burns Library Reading Room.
