The majority of the items are awards, plaques, and certificates honoring Drinan. Notable gifts include a bowl in commemoration of the Boston Massacre and a Jerusalem Bible. Also contains congressional license plates, honorary degrees, office guest books, visitor logs, and scrapbooks.

Collection is open for research, with the exception of the case files in Series V. District files. The audio and video recordings are not available for playback due to format impermanence and can not be reformatted by Burns Library at this time.
