Includes materials outside of Gordon's scholarly output but which document her education and career: awards, transcripts, many drafts of her curriculum vitae with supporting documents, and articles about her work. Also contains a smaller amount of documents of her personal life: autograph albums, diaries, high school and college ephemera, and papers documenting her mother Margaret Doran Gordon's education in Scottland and teaching career in the United States.
