Scope and Contents
The typescriptincludes many handwritten comments by his editor Robert Giroux and a few of his own notes. This represents the second draft of Merton's autobiography (the first no longer exists). The manuscript is missing several leaves, and Merton miscounted many of the pages and his editor noted the correct pagination.
