Contains Drinan's personal files on subjects related to his committee service. The bulk pertain to work conducted by the Judiciary Committee in relation to the revision of the criminal code in 1979-1980. Other topics include civil rights, attorney fees, journalists' privilege, revenue sharing, lobbying, prison reform, and military medical school.

Collection is open for research, with the exception of the case files in Series V. District files. The audio and video recordings are not available for playback due to format impermanence and can not be reformatted by Burns Library at this time.
