 File — Digital_content 164201
Scope and Contents

Poem, titled, "Today, when I could do nothing". Written as a member of a poetry group connected to the Ocean County Library's Long Beach Island branch in Surf City, New Jersey. Describing the pandemic, the poetic exercise required the use of "Today, when I could do nothing," as a common beginning line among group members. The final two stanzas of the poem are from the old Southern spiritual, "I'll Fly Away."
