Scope and Contents
Nemeth took the photograph of one of her six roommates, Maria Noyes, completing her schoolwork at Hotel Boston after testing positive for coronavirus. The hotel was where all the Boston College students who tested positive for coronavirus or were contact traced were sent to isolate for 10-14 days. This photo was taken on September 15, 2020, the sixth day of their isolation. Nemeth wanted to capture and memorialize the physical and emotional isolation they experienced.
