Biographical Note
Paddy Reynolds was born in 1920 in Ballinamuck in County Longford. At age six he began learning Irish fiddle from his mother, a violinist. He led the Four Provinces Céilí Band before emigrating in the late 1940s. In New York he was a founding member of the New York Céilí Band and formed a long-running duet partnership with fiddle player Andy McGann. He died in 2005.
