Biography
Margaret Edwards Green was the eldest daughter of Herbert Edwards, a Belfast tax inspector. She was born in 1901 in Grantham, Lincolnshire and educated at Methodist College (Belfast), Queen’s University Belfast and Cambridge. She married Frederick Lawrence Green in 1929.
