Biographical Note
D.H. Lawrence served as a school master before turning to writing. He emerged as one of the great novelists of the early twentieth century. Lawrence also wrote poems, short stories and other works. His collected letters were edited and published by Harry T. Moore.

Contains materials regarding the life of early twentieth-century English author D.H. Lawrence, which belonged to literary critic and biographer Harry T. Moore. These include drafts of Alan Plater's screenplay for Priest of Love, based on Moore's biography of the same name, and an index of the letters of D.H. Lawrence compiled by Joe Martin. There is also a press packet for the Priest of Love film.
