Biographical note
Piano player Helen Kisiel grew up in Newton, Massachusetts. Her early musical influences included classical music, the traditional dance music of Poland, and traditional music from Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton. She connected with Boston's Irish music community in the 1970s and subsequently performed and recorded with many Boston-area musicians including fiddle player Brendan Tonra and fiddle player Séamus Connolly.

Music by the Gaelic Roots Ceili Band, including Kieran Hanrahan, Séamus Connolly, Brian Conway, Helen Kisiel, Catherine McEvoy, Jimmy Noonan, Laurel Martin, Brendan McGlinchey, and Beth Sweeney. The first hour of the céilí was recorded live for Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ).
