This subseries contains manuscripts, typescripts, correspondence and publishing contracts for Sweeneys books, as well as articles he wrote for The New Catholic Encyclopedia. It also contains the working materials for a Jesuit poets anthology, including correspondence, poetry, a preface, and publishing rejections. Finally, this subseries contains drafts and a published copy of Sweeney’s dissertation: "Ethical Concepts in the Poetry of A.E. Housman."
