This subseries primarily contains short stories (manuscript, typescript, and/or published copy) Sweeney wrote for newspapers including The Boston Globe and The New York Times, and Catholic periodicals America and The Commonweal. In addition, some of these articles include the Judgment Censor given by the Jesuit Provincial. Also included are articles by Sweeney regarding local religious community events. Other materials include untitled manuscripts, partial typescripts, and miscellaneous manuscripts and published articles.
