This series contains research material pertaining to the Roman Catholic Church in Ireland. The subseries also contain some correspondence between third parties that Larkin filed with the archbishops' records. General (subseries F) contains other civil and ecclesiastical research materials used by Larkin. These documents are copies. The originals are in the following archives: the foreign office of the United Kingdom; the Irish College in Rome; the National Library of Ireland; and the Roman Catholic archdiocese and dioceses of Armagh, Cashel, Dublin, and Tuam.
