These papers document the work and activities of Nancy and Jack Joyce with the Boston College Friends of Art and the McMullen Museum of Art. Much of the material relates to the Boston College Friends of Art and Nancy Joyce's work as head docent for the McMullen Museum of Art. The papers contain correspondence; a scrapbook documenting the 1999 McMullen Art Museum exhibit "Saints and Sinners: Caravaggio and the Baroque Image"; meeting minutes, notes, and remarks for the Boston College Friends of Art; exhibition notes and training documents for docents; and speeches, programs, flyers, and photographs from various Boston College arts and awards events including the 1994 Excellence in Arts and Humanities William V. McKenney Award ceremony and the 1982 University Council on Giving.
