Scope and Contents
Personal and family papers of Irish-born American painter John Mulvany compiled by his great-niece, Alice T. Garvey. The collection includes Mulvany's personal and professional correspondence with family, friends, and patrons. It also includes materials from Mulvany's family, such as correspondence about his work after his death, correspondence between his siblings, and personal information about Mulvany. There are some original works by Mulvany, notably pencil drawings and poetry, as well as newspaper clippings about his life and work.
