Course materials include pre-recorded lectures that Helmick created in advance of classes he would have to miss for travel, maps, notes, syllabi, and course packs. The course packs often consist of copies of Helmick's correspondence and documents from his work in conflict resolution. Most of the courses were at Boston College, but seminars he taught at Seton Hall University and Boston University are also included.
