Regarding his filmmaking process, approximately 1979
Scope and Contents
The interview begins with Altman speaking about his side projects (a recording studio and a production company) and the background of financiing his and others' films. He mentions his films Quintet and A Perfect Couple. Then Alman discusses how he doesn't follow all the conventional ways of making films (e.g he records the sound to 8-track with each individual cast member wearing a mic; the pace of filmmaking; etc.)
