Interviewees include Warhol, his producer Paul Morrissey, and the actress Viva. Interview starts with a discussion of Kent's tape recorder and how to monitor its recording level. After some banter from Viva, Kent asks Warhol how he's been feeling (after having been shot 3 months prior) and whether he's rethought his lifestyle at all. He discusses the shooting and his prior background with the shooter, Valerie Solanas. He talks about his scars from the shooting, how he now feels, and where things will go from here with his filmwork. He says that everything is such a dream to him now, he's not sure if he's really alive or if he died. He feels afraid now.
