As described on the CIHE web page: "The Center for International Higher Education had a longstanding research arrangement with the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in Moscow, Russia. This cooperation with the Center for Institutional Studies resulted in a series of books over the past decade, co-edited by its director and vice-rector of HSE, Maria Yudkevich, together with founding CIHE Director Philip G. Altbach and other staff of CIHE. Although our primary research and academic collaboration was with the Center for Institutional Studies, CIHE has also worked with the HSE Institute of Education."
