This series contains chapters two through twelve of a typed, edited manuscript for Gogarty's autobiography. This draft must have been close to his final one because it correlates closely with the 1938 published version. Noted on the folders are the corresponding pages in the Reynal & Hitchcock: New York, 1938 publication to which the enclosed text refers. In the Chapter II folder, there is a picture that did not make the publication on the page marked 11. Also in this series are two pages -- one a typed poem, one with two handwritten lines -- that were filed among the manuscript pages for this book.
