Processing Information
Because the Christitch sisters included only Annie and Janie, and these letters are signed "Marie," it is likely that the term "Sister" on these letters is addressing a woman religious. The recipient could be Janie Christitch, who became Mother Mary of the Cross, but it could also be Sister Mary Jacqueline (correspondent of Annie and Janie's, and donor of these papers to Boston College).
