Biographical / Historical

Roibeárd Ó Faracháin (Robert Farren) was an Irish poet and author born in Dublin. In early life Ó Faracháin worked as a teacher. He then became involved in Radio Eireann and the Abbey Theatre. With Austin Clarke he helped found in 1940 what became the Lyric Theatre.
