CD-Rs for research use
This series represents digital audio recordings, reformatted to CD-R (compact discs) by the Irish Music Center from digital audio tape (DAT) compilations. Séamus Connolly created the DAT compilations from recordings he had made on sound tape reels. The series has been arranged in five thematic groups: Artists and Bands; Compilations by Instrument; Events; Broadcasts; and Commercial Recordings.
Collection is open for research. Digitized versions of original recordings are available for Burns Library Reading Room use. Some audio and video items may not be immediately available due to formatting issues.
