Historical note

Trinity Closet Press was a hand press run by Trinity College Library's Department of Early Printed Books. Founded in 1973 by M. (Mary) Pollard, the Press served as a teaching tool giving students and staff first-hand experience in book production methods in the hand-press period. The Press was housed in the basement of the Printing House at Trinity College and ceased operations in 1995.
